This coffee offers an elegant and aromatic blend with notes of Elderflower, Limeade, Passionfruit, Doughnut Peach, and Oolong Tea. Ideal for manual brewing like Pour Over or Immersion, the Gesha varietal brings unique floral tones and a sweet, lingering aftertaste.

Brothers Shady and Elias Bayter from Finca El Vergel, together with their mother Martha, have elevated their family coffee globally. Known for being innovative, they are creative in crafting exciting coffee and we have featured some excellent and unique beans from them over the years. This new Gesha, named after their mother Martha, is no exception and stands as a prime example of high-quality Gesha beans from Colombia and the hard work the brothers have put into their farm.

About the Roaster

At Hermanos, we’re all about celebrating the rich diversity of Colombian specialty coffee. We work directly with farmers across Colombia to source single-origin beans through trusted, direct trade relationships — and roast them fresh every day in London to bring out their unique flavour profiles.

Founded by brothers Victor and Santiago Gamboa, alongside Adnan Millwala, Hermanos is built on a shared love for Colombian coffee and a spirit of curiosity and experimentation. That drive led us to be named "Best Independent Coffee Shop of the Year" and "Coffee Shop Operator (10–50 sites)" at the London Coffee Festival 2025.
