Summary of this App and Privacy Policy:

The purpose of this app is to send new coffee orders from the (hello coffee!) Shopify store to your shopify or woo-commerce store, so you can fulfill the (hello coffee!) coffee order as part of your normal ecommerce orders system. We will never look at or touch any information relating to your existing customers or order data.


1. Data We Access

We only access the minimum data necessary to perform the core functionalities of the Hello Coffee Send Orders App. Specifically, we access the following:

Product Information

  • Product titles and prices:

    • Access is read-only.

    • We do not edit, delete, or modify any product data.

Orders

  • We create orders that are processed by the HelloCoffee Send Orders App.

  • Orders that we handle are tagged with HelloCoffeeOrder.

  • Once an order tagged HelloCoffeeOrder is marked "fulfilled", we no longer access or process that order.

Customers

  • We create customers only for orders processed by HelloCoffee Send Orders App.

  • Customers created by our app use the email address: hello@hellocoffee.uk.

  • We do not view, access, store, edit, or delete existing customer data.

 


 

2. Data We Store

We only store the following:

  • Orders processed by the HelloCoffee Send Orders App.

We do not store any of the following:

  • Existing orders in your Shopify store.

  • Existing customer data.

 


 

3. Purpose of Data Usage

We access and process the data strictly to perform the core functionalities of the HelloCoffee Send Orders App:

  • Creating orders on behalf of the merchant that are processed via our app.

  • Tagging orders with HelloCoffeeOrder to identify and manage orders processed by HelloCoffee.

  • Creating customer records for fulfillment purposes using hello@hellocoffee.uk as a placeholder email.

We do not edit, delete, or otherwise alter any existing order or customer data in your Shopify store.

 


 

4. How We Protect Your Data

We take data security seriously and implement measures to ensure that your data is protected from unauthorised access, misuse, or disclosure. These include:

  • Secure access to Shopify API.
  • Restricted internal access to data.
  • Use of industry-standard encryption protocols.

 


 

5. Data Retention

We retain only the order data necessary to perform the services provided by the HelloCoffee Send Orders App. Once an order is marked as "fulfilled", we no longer access or process that order.

  • Remove access to your store by uninstalling the app.
