Caravan started with three friends — Laura, Miles and Chris — who met working in restaurants back in New Zealand. They shared a love of good food, great coffee and the kind of places where people genuinely feel at home. When they moved to London, they wanted to create something that brought all of that together: a space that was relaxed but buzzing, with bold, global flavours and freshly roasted coffee at its heart.
The first Caravan opened in early 2010 on Exmouth Market and it quickly became known for its all-day menu, laid-back vibe and a pioneering approach to combining restaurant and café culture. Since then, Caravan has grown across London and beyond — but that original spirit hasn’t changed.
Laid-Back Dining
At Caravan, we serve food that’s inspired by our travels, coffee that’s roasted down the road and hospitality that’s warm, genuine and down to earth.
We believe in keeping things simple but special – a place where you can grab a quick flat white or settle in for a long, lazy dinner with friends.
Sustainably Sourced
We’re proud to be a B Corp, roasting responsibly, sourcing thoughtfully, and doing our bit to create a more sustainable industry. But most of all, we’re here to bring people together over food and drink that makes them feel good.
Wherever you join us — morning, noon or night — you’re always welcome at Caravan.
