How do gift subscriptions work?

Our gift subscriptions are the perfect way to have friends and family experience a variety of coffee to match their taste profile!

  1. You select how many bags of coffee their gift subscription will contain.
  2. Now - You choose - We send you an email with a digital gift card you can print and then hand to them directly.
  3. OR We email the receiver on a specific date, and they get a digital gift card.
  4. Once the recipient receives the code by card you give them or by email, they can activate it on our website by going to Coffee Gifts --> Redeem A Gift.
  5. They’ll create a login and take our coffee matching to quiz to generate their taste profile and discover their personalised coffee matches. They'll select if they need coffee ground or whole bean.
  6. You do not need to enter the gift recipient's shipping information upon purchasing. They'll set up their shipping details and let us know how frequently they'd like to receive their coffee.
  7. Gift subscriptions do not automatically renew and your gift recipient will not need to enter payment method to claim their gift. They will receive only the number of bags you have paid for.

What kind of coffee can they choose from?

Our coffees come from an exclusive selection of coffee roasters around the UK. Your favorite coffee drinker can choose between single-origin coffees, decafs, blends, organic coffee, roasting styles, and more.

They can also pick the best roast from a country of their choice, like a single origin from the Yirgacheffe region in Ethiopia, nutty blends from Brazil, or bright and balanced Colombian beans, just to name a few. Each batch of coffee is carefully roasted by one of more than 50+ independent coffee roasters in the UK.

Can I add a custom gift message?

Absolutely! After selecting how many bags of coffee to gift, you may write an optional custom message. This gift message will be included in their email or printable card.

What if they lose their gift code?

Not to worry! Contact a customer support agent at hello@hellocoffee.uk or give us a chat on email, and we'll locate that gift code for you. We can also send them another email directly with the original gift code.

Did you know? You may also reprint their gift card at any time, just send us an email and letb us know and one of our friendly support team will help you out.

Can I use my hello coffee! store credit for gift purchases?

Unfortunately, store credit cannot be applied towards a gift purchase. We're so sorry for any inconvenience this might cause!
