The 1st specialty coffee roasters in the 2nd city.

After establishing and opening our first coffee shop in Oxford in 2012, we opened our second shop in Birmingham, before moving permanently to start roasting coffee in the Midlands.

Since then, we are now located in two sites across the city of Birmingham, roasting and serving high quality and ethically sourced beans from around the world.

Our Sustainability

At Quarter Horse Coffee, we have always sought after environmentally friendly alternatives and materials, but we wanted to take it a step further by making all of our packaging either fully biodegradable or recyclable at home.

Building coffee relationships

By prioritising long-lasting relationships we are proud to have a strong and positive correspondence with farmers all around the world.

Buying 'direct' does not necessarily mean that we are dealing only with the farmer him/herself, but it contains all the benefits of doing such. We support sustainable growth on all stages in the supply chain, ethical trading, and encourage pricing averaging three times that of Fairtrade.
