Sirinya Coffee, a family-owned farm, roastery, and shop in Chiang Rai, exemplifies sustainable coffee production with over 40 years of expertise. Founded by Oil and Goh Chaosuwanwilai, Sirinya uplifts the Doi Chang community through organic farming and innovative processing. This region transitioned from opium to coffee cultivation in the 1980s, setting a global standard for alternative development. 

Sirinya’s meticulous process includes hand-sorting ripe cherries, anaerobic fermentation with local yeast, and controlled drying to achieve speciality-grade coffee. These efforts improve market value and sustainability while fostering reforestation and supporting local farmers. 

 Thailand’s coffee industry, promoted by King Bhumibol Adulyadej in the 1970s, has grown significantly, with Arabica thriving in northern highlands. Sirinya Coffee honours this legacy by combining tradition with innovation, showcasing the region’s potential in speciality coffee production while strengthening its communities and ecosystems.
