About The Coffee

Hermanos is proud to present 'Finca El Turpial', the coffee that won the 'La Mejor Taza de Mi Nariño Internacional' (Best Cup of Nariño International), cultivated by Emerson Felipe Narváez Díaz.

Handcrafted at an extreme altitude of 2,700 masl in the remote highlands of Nariño, Colombia, by Emerson Felipe Narváez Díaz.

This exceptional coffee showcases complex aromas and flavours, thanks to Emerson’s meticulous care from picking to milling.

Cultivated in a region affected by armed conflict, Emerson had no choice but to farm the entire coffee plantation by himself, without a team. This coffee is a true labour of love.

Finca El Turpial coffee beans are sun-dried and processed using the honey method, resulting in a vibrant flavour profile with notes of violet and bergamot orange. Emerson’s journey is a powerful reminder of what dedication and resilience can achieve, and his coffee is a tribute to his family's legacy in Colombia’s coffee history.

About the Roaster

At Hermanos, we’re all about celebrating the rich diversity of Colombian specialty coffee. We work directly with farmers across Colombia to source single-origin beans through trusted, direct trade relationships — and roast them fresh every day in London to bring out their unique flavour profiles.

Founded by brothers Victor and Santiago Gamboa, alongside Adnan Millwala, Hermanos is built on a shared love for Colombian coffee and a spirit of curiosity and experimentation. That drive led us to be named "Best Independent Coffee Shop of the Year" and "Coffee Shop Operator (10–50 sites)" at the London Coffee Festival 2025.
