Part of the Tierradentro region located on the western side of Cauca, a region that is 80% inhabited by an indigenous tribe called the Paeces. A vibrant cup with juicy plum brightness, layered caramel sweetness, and a touch of nutmeg spice. Sweet, fruity, and warmly spiced.

About The Coffee

This coffee is produced by smallholder growers in Inzá municipality. Part of the Tierradentro region located on the western side of Cauca, a region that is 80% inhabited by an indigenous tribe called the Paeces. The average size of the farms here is 0.5 to 1.5 hectares, each producing microlots. Working together as a community they are able to combine their harvests to create a large enough volume to be sold to buyers. Our importers Cofinet collaborate with other small coffee companies, Occicafe Colombia and Globalcafe, to establish a direct relationship with the farmers and have better control of the quality.

Grown in an region blessed with volcanic soil and optimum rainfall that allow arabica cultivars to flourish. This creates a coffee that is bold and delicious and with notes of plum, caramel and nutmeg this really is a moreish brew

Moon Roast Coffee

Nestled deep in the heart of rural Hampshire, Moon Roast is an award winning, specialty coffee roastery with a rich family heritage in the trade. We source ethically and think sustainably, hand roasting in small batches daily.

In 2012, Francis Bradshaw, inspired by a family heritage in the coffee and tea trades spanning four generations, commissioned a Probat Coffee Roaster in a small barn in his backyard and began roasting at night after a day’s work. By the light of the moon and under the watchful gaze of the village owl, Fran set about developing roast profiles for carefully selected beans. Before long he was supplying freshly roasted coffee to local people and businesses. And so Moon Roast was born.
