The Impact Espresso is a collaboration between Notes and the award-winning social enterprise Well Grounded. Launched in 2016, Well Grounded provides the UK’s unemployed with coffee training, job coaching, mentorship, mental health and wellbeing support to help them thrive in life.

Profits from every bag of coffee sold directly support Well Grounded programmes and their mission to create a more diverse and inclusive coffee industry, giving local people access to local jobs.

About Impact Espresso

Coffee producer Daterra was conceived in the 80s when the term 'sustainability' was not as popular as today. However, the Daterra Coffee project was conceived to produce speciality coffee, grounded in environmental preservation and social development.

Cerrado Mineiro, where this espresso roast comes from, is a great example of Daterra's approach to striking a balance between the demands of agronomy and maintaining the surrounding environment's health.

About the Roaster

Single Origin Speciality Coffee -
High grade coffee, sourced from origin and lovingly roasted in east London under the meticulous eye of our Co-Founder, Fabio. Our coffee beans are from farmers who take as much care nurturing their coffee plants as we do roasting and brewing our beans. We focus on small batch roasted coffee so that every delicate and unique flavour is translated in the cup.

Notes is a collection of coffee shops and bars serving Notes speciality coffee, craft beers, well-chosen wines and classic cocktails, all with a signature Notes twist. We offer delicious seasonally-inspired food throughout the day, to eat in or takeaway.
